Kelly is passionate about building capacity in others so they can make a positive impact on student learning and wellbeing. Some of her recent projects have focused on inclusion, collaborative teaching structures, shared leadership, professional growth, and helping teams use a body of evidence to make school-wide and instructional decisions.
Kelly is currently a Leadership Consultant and Coach. She is also an Adaptive Schools agency trainer. Recently, she served for a decade as the Elementary School Principal at International School Bangkok (ISB). It was during her time there that Kelly co-led an Inclusive School initiative, including opening the first intensive needs program for students in the elementary school. Previous to her Principal role, she was a Learning Coach working with teachers, leaders, and parents within a student-centered coaching model. Prior to ISB, Kelly served as Curriculum Coordinator at Escuela Campo Alegre (ECA) in Caracas, Venezuela and was a Consultant/Staff Developer, EAL Teacher, Classroom Teacher, and Literacy Specialist in the Boulder Valley School District in Colorado.
Kelly holds a Certificate of International School Leadership from PTC and graduated with a Master’s Degree from the University of Colorado in Multicultural and Bilingual Foundations of Education, focusing on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, with endorsements in Bilingual Teaching and ESL. When not collaborating with schools and leaders, Kelly loves to be outside hiking and skiing with her family.
