What will I learn in the program?
The Teacher Leader Program is based on three key design principles:
learning the most up-to-date practices alongside international colleagues
having access to current professional resources
including job-embedded practice or application opportunities
Across the four courses you will learn how to:
transform your team meetings into collaborative sessions, focused on student learning
lead your team through the process of developing and revising curriculum and assessments using a learner centered approach with a lens on diversity, equity, inclusion and anti-racism
lead protocols with your team to look at student work and uncover student thinking
share and model research-based teaching and assessment practices
select the best approach when coaching and supervising team members
use a variety of evidence sources for documenting effective teaching practices and to look for evidence of learning
provide carefully crafted, actionable feedback to improve teaching and to transform student learning
How do I Earn the Certificate of International School Teacher Leadership?
