Steve Ayling, originally from Birmingham, UK, earned his B.Ed. (Hons) in 1999 from Exeter University and his Masters (MSc) from the State University of New York in 2010. He spent fifteen years at IS Manila, Philippines in both JS and MS classrooms prior to successfully transitioning into school counselling. Steve has since worked for the past 13 years at each division in the counselling realm and starts his 7th year at IS Basel, Switzerland this coming August as a MS Counsellor.
Steve earned his Certification of International School Counseling through our very own Counselor Training Center (CTC) Program and he is thrilled to be co-facilitating the Intro to Essential Skills course with Shannon Leoni for the first time. Steve looks forward to learning alongside you soon and is happy to share ideas and resources with you as you begin or continue your journey into counselling.
