Shwetangna Chakrabarty is the Editor of The International Educator (TIE) and an esteemed international educator based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. She is also a proud AIELOC member, regularly contributing towards AIELOC webinars and conferences since the past 5 years. With over 17 years of rich experience in teaching diverse curricula across continents, she has profoundly impacted educational practices and student outcomes. Her career encompasses significant roles including Curriculum Coordinator, University Counsellor, Capstone/Research Project Manager, CIS/NEASC Accreditation Coordinator, IB Examiner, IBEN programme leader, and Assistant Principal. As a member of the Forum Planning Committee for the Council of International Schools (CSI), Shwetangna is deeply engaged in higher educational policies and practices impacting university admissions. She has worked intensively with CIS to support the Global Forum on international admissions that engages over 800 universities and schools in university counselling best practices. As a university counsellor she has visited over 60 universities across the world and presented many times at the CIS global conference. Her experience as a university counsellor is enriched by the cultural knowledge of different geographical areas she has workedin and the student needs of specific regions and countries. Shwetangna holds dual Master's degrees in Business Administration and Education and is also a certified college counselor. She is passionate about fostering internationalism within the education sector, serving as a dynamic change-maker and thought leader. Her contributions extend into the literary world as a published author with works available through Routledge Taylor and Francis and IGI publications.
