With over 36 years of experience in education, Nancy Lhoest-Squicciarini just recently retired from the International School of Luxembourg. Her previous roles included being Head of Community Relations, Assistant Principal responsible for Teaching & Learning and Professional Development, #ISLLoft Facilitator, Chair of the Educational Collaborative for International (ECIS) Curriculum and Assessment Committee and a Middle School teacher for 24 years. Now retired, she is a member of the International Association of Facilitators which is a worldwide community promoting excellence in the use of professional group process facilitation to create engagement and impact and provides trainings to organizations such as the ECIS and the Council of International Schools (CIS). Nancy is one of the network leaders for @WomenEdLux, a global grassroots movement that connects aspiring and existing women leaders in education and is also the Chair of the ECIS “Women in Education” Special Interest Group, which encourages gender equity and builds communities that cultivate alliances, allyship and collaboration amidst diverse perspectives. Nancy is a member of the Learning2 Europe Team which is a global non-profit organization with a mission to “innovate social learning globally” by providing innovative and engaging learning opportunities with a focus on leveraging technology to support learning globally. She holds a Certificate of International School Leadership from the Principals' Training Center and is currently studying the art of virtual facilitation to elevate connections to enhance the learner experience.
