Kenya J. Washington currently serves as Assistant Principal in the Upper School at the United Nations International School, NY, USA. She holds an EdM in Counseling Psychology and licensure in Mental Health Counseling, as well certificates with Principals Training Center, and Harvard Graduate School of Education (Leadership & Management). With a robust background in Student Support Services, Mental Health, and Learning Support spanning from secondary through university levels, she brings over 20 years of experience in international education. Kenya has facilitated workshops for IBO-The Americas and ECIS in the areas of creating systems that promote student and faculty wellbeing. Her expertise lies in administration, leadership, counseling, and advocating for best practices to empower educators in supporting the diverse needs of all learners.
